Your Biological Clock
David McCullough was interviewed by one of his 19 grandchildren in a podcast in February 2020. The late McCullough, author of 12 books is considered one of if not the best, author of history. He has used history to shape his own life and in this interview, says, “why should we limit our experience in life to the little bit of time allowed by our biological clock? It’s ridiculous.”
It certainly is. How many of you have thought you’re too old, too slow, not smart enough, and on and on.
As long as you have breathe in your lungs you stand a chance. As long as it is humanly possible, you can do it too. So, what are you waiting for? Why do you keep putting up excuses?
Life is lived in the dash. Meaning, on someone tombstone you see the date they were born and the date they died. In between is a dash ( -). That is where life is lived. Not in the past. Not in the future. In that small line separating your birth and death.
It’s not that you don’t have time, its that you waste a lot of it.
So as we inch closer to the end of the year, start meditation on how you can live, the way you want. Why limit yourself to the little time we all have anyway. The unknown time. The uncertain time. Live, act, do, be…today.

Thought Provoking Questions : Why are you limiting your experience in life? What excuses do you give yourself? How can you turn that around?
Daily I write and release a daily meditation. A quick read. Sharing wisdom and asking thought-provoking questions. Influenced by the obstacles, success and failures in my life and of others. Using history, books, current events, philosophy, and ancient wisdom. These writings are actionable, thought-provoking, designed to make your life better.
These writings are not to push a way of thinking on the reader or to force you into a certain philosophy or methodology. Rather to give you practical and real ways to handle life. This is an added tool. My writing is simply a discussion, a discourse, with all the material I read, watch, hear and consume.
