What Tiktok Showed Me About Money

As a professional or expert in any field, we all have to consistently learn. What’s new, what’s changed and more importantly what people want to learn more of.
Being on social media can teach us all many things. I learned quite a bit! Tiktok is a great example of what NOT to do with your money. An acne prone, 18 year old, with no life experience or a successful track record with money. YET, they have it figured out. And an e-course to go with it.
Not all advice on Tiktok is bad or wrong. Some is actually great. But I feel the good gets lost in a sea of bad. Be careful. Check in with people that you feel know about money. Hire an advisor that has “the heart of a teacher.” Do not put money into anything you know nothing about. If everyone is doing it than you probably shouldn’t.
Warren Buffett once said that (be) “fearful when others are greedy and greedy when others are fearful.”
