Money can buy many things. It brings the Mastercard commercial to mind. Wealth is just the same. You think John D. Rockefeller could have afforded to be a better dad? What about Elon Musk? He’s still alive and has a chance to do so. Wealth cannot make us better at anything.
That has to come intrinsically, from within. I’m sure Rockefeller would have wanted to be a better, more present dad. That chance is gone. Elon, still has time. Wealth could not save the marriages of Bezos or Gates. So what good is wealth?
It may serve others, make life easier for you. Notice, however, that wealth cannot buy the very thing we want. Love. Peace. Family. Happiness.
So, as you chase wealth and build it, remember its limitations.
