Ask For Help
We are not designed to handle the load of life, alone.
And yet, we all think we can. We all think we can effectively multi-task
what reeds to be done, without realizing much of what we
say yes to is not essential.
Another thing, and likely the most dangerous of all is we do not ask for help. But it takes a village. To raise children, to run a business, to go through all of the hurdles life places in our path, with no notice.
Ask for help.
Find and attend therapy.Â
Hire a coach.
Find a mentor.
Talk to someone you trust.
Asking for help is hot quitting, but it is refusing to quit. Yes, it requires you to be vulnerable, but it’s also a sign of strength. By seeking aid, you realize that what you want help with is important to you. By finding the resources you need you slow down the pace of procrastination creeping in to take the wind out of your lungs.
Conversely not asking for help is not healthy. It is a recipe for self-destruction. It can and will likely lead to many more struggles and we see that today.
Depression. Self hurt. Anxiety. Addiction and substance abuse. People extinguishing their internal fires and ending up just a shell of what they used to be or whet they were meant to be.
And if you don’t know where to turn to just email me, (hey Dan Roman here, if i can help in any way, just send me a message. We can talk over the phone).
NOTE: the worlds best performers have a coach. A system, and ecosystem of people around them, so they can focus on doing what they love or what they heed. This is far more important than what you think it will cost, financially, think of the other costs to your life...
