Bernie Madoff and Sam Bankman-Fried, Elizabeth Holmes and Ana Sorkin. And many more.
Is it the pursuit of wealth that they’re after or what the wealth can buy? Many of you reading this despise wealth. You believe wealth is evil. Well, when you see some of the evil things people do with or for money, your argument is understood. Wealth is not evil, however, some of the people who have some are. Money is a magnifier of the person you already are. If you are a generous person you will be more generous. However, if you are a greedy person than the more money you have simply isn’t enough. If you’re an asswhole with no money, more money makes you more of an asswhole.
