The next best time is now.
I enjoy this phrase. Especially when I feel like starting tomorrow. The best time to start my book was yesterday. The next best time is now. “Why put off for tomorrow what can be done today” said Benjamin Franklin.
Why put off working out?
Why put off investing for retirement?
Why put off paying your student loans back?
Why put off the effort needed in your marriage or relationships?
Trees take time to grow which is why 20 years ago would have been the best time. But the next best time is now, while we are thinking about it. So something can actually grow.
You do not need to start tomorrow, or on monday, or on December 1st.
You do not need to wait until January 1 to start a new career, exercise program, or to handle your money better.
Start now. It is the best time!
