Or let others steal it from you.
Stoic Philosopher Seneca said, “People are frugal in guarding their personal property; but as soon as it comes to squandering time they are most wasteful of the one thing in which it is right to be stingy.”
Could this be any more true?
Have you ever taken inventory of your time? Like actually audit your day, week, and month. Maybe you should plan your ideal day on paper. Have you ever tried that exercise?
I have about 12 years ago. Each year since 2010 I take a look ahead and look back through the rear view mirror. I am consistently reflecting, adjusting and experimenting. No I have no hack or viral statement to get your attention. Only to say that you need, you must take a look at where your time is going.
Have you ever wondered why your goals are not being accomplished? Why you may feel stuck? Or lost? Perhaps you feel confused. Well you are not alone. Many suffer from this. For sure I did. It all starts with taking a look at how you spend your time. Just like how you spend your money.
If you spend too much money you will not have any left over. Time works the same way. Spending too much time watching Netflix?
Spend it wisely. It’s the most important resource we have. On your death bed you would have wished you had more time. Think about that.
What does time mean for you?
What adjustments are you going to make?
What do you want your ideal day to look like? Plan it out. (take a calendar sheet you can print for free on line. Plan your ideal day out. Put in there everything you do want and do not put anything in there that you do not want)
