In his Easter Sunday sermon, Dr. Dharius Daniels says the following: "you may not have been in a grave literally, but we have been in some dead places metaphorically."
Using the resurrection of Jesus to show us and tell us, that we can get out of the grave we find ourselves in now. The rut we're in. The cycle of bad habits. The present state of procrastination or bad choices.
Getting out of these metaphorical graves requires work. It needs faith, be in a higher power or in yourself. It happens with being committed to a purpose and doing right by it. Some have actually died. We however, face a new chance to do right, to do what is required - right now.
Getting out also needs you to want out.
