Judgement Wins
You face a problem. At times several. Running from one to the other. Putting out fires. You do them at work. You do them at home. With your co-workers, partner and kids. But, too often you see things that aren’t there. You feel fear, anxiety, and the stress of it all. The weight feels crushing. In order to solve these problems, you must see what is in front of you. Not the imaginary fears. Or the hopes and wishes you have in mind to overcome the situation. To fix, one must recognize what needs to be fixed.
As the expression goes, recognizing the problem is the first step. You can hope, there is nothing wrong with that. You can wish, it might make you feel better. But none of that solves the problem. You have to fire someone on your team. Have a difficult conversation with your partner or teenager. Face a terminal illness scare. The only way through these problems is focusing on what is directly in front of you. Hoping and wishing is delusional over time. It lies to you over time on what is needed to solve what you face. It delays your action. And at times, it paralyzes you. You begin to think someone else will fix it. The government will do it. Your co-worker will pick up your slack on the project. And a number of other scenarios.
Use clean and clear judgement when facing problems. See what is actually there so you know exactly what needs to be done. Don’t have fear or doubt. Don’t operate with hope of a wish. All of these will distort your actions.
What are you choosing to not see by hoping and wishing? Instead, use good and clear judgement.

Thought Provoking Questions : What are you choosing to not see because your judgement is not clear?
Daily I write and release a daily meditation. A quick read. Sharing wisdom and asking thought-provoking questions. Influenced by the obstacles, success and failures in my life and of others. Using history, books, current events, philosophy, and ancient wisdom. These writings are actionable, thought-provoking, designed to make your life better.
These writings are not to push a way of thinking on the reader or to force you into a certain philosophy or methodology. Rather to give you practical and real ways to handle life. This is an added tool. My writing is simply a discussion, a discourse, with all the material I read, watch, hear and consume.
