It’s Not The Goal But How You Look At It
Imagine deciding to get in better shape. You want to lose weight so tomorrow you run a 5k marathon.
Imagine deciding to get in better shape. You want to lose weight so tomorrow you run a 5k marathon.
You wouldn’t. Because running a 5k is a huge deal, especially for someone who has never trained for it. For someone who feels out of shape.
So, why when you have a goal, your first step towards it is an extreme action?
The truth is, it comes down to designing your life step by step, action by action and experience by experience.
Instead of some extreme action, start small and simple. Want to lose weight, don’t run a 5k. Go for a walk instead. Just move your body.
Want to be a millionaire put $25 in a ROTH IRA every week and invest it, start now. Increase it as your go. As you pay down and off debt, as your income increases and as you budget better. Don’t just imagine putting $1 million or more in a ROTH.
Anything you want in life, find out WHAT you need to do today to get where you want to be. Put in the effort, each day. Keep your vision alive by doing the work for it. Eventually, you will get there. Stay with it.
