If It Can Happen At Any Moment...It Can Happen Today
If you think it could happen, it could happen today. Whether your unborn child arrives today or on it’s due date. Someone you know and love on their death bed. Perhaps there are rumors that your company will start laying people off. If it can happen, it can happen today.
This is why you prepare, in advance. This is why athletes spend time practicing and simulating game-like scenarios. So they are prepared for what might happen. The same approach is taken by our armed forces, medical professionals, and sadly, school drills in the event of an active shooter. All of these scenarios are in preparation.
COVID-19 strikes in 2020 and a report from The Atlantic details how AT&T handled the surge in broadband usage as everyone sat at home. Whether it was to work from home or simply keep themselves entertained. It wasn’t just people at home that AT&T services. There were companies that used them and government agencies. However, AT&T kept everyone connected. They kept everyone’s internet intact. Because they prepared, in advance for this moment. They ran drills, tests, and simulations for something like COVID-19. AT&T ran their tests or “disaster rehearsals” in 2019 and this is routine for them to do so. By preparing in advance you work out the kinks, you face new obstacles and create solutions, your instincts work better and your reflexes act quickly.
No athlete just wishes to hit the game winning shot or hit the game winning home run. They visualized, they practiced, they prepared. Start athlete, AT&T, or you with your work and family. There is much to come from preparing in advance.
If it can happen at any moment, it can happen today.

Thought Provoking Questions : What is your opinion? Do you want your doctor to be older or younger? Or do you just want answers and solutions?
Daily I write and release a daily meditation. A quick read. Sharing wisdom and asking thought-provoking questions. Influenced by the obstacles, success and failures in my life and of others. Using history, books, current events, philosophy, and ancient wisdom. These writings are actionable, thought-provoking, designed to make your life better.
These writings are not to push a way of thinking on the reader or to force you into a certain philosophy or methodology. Rather to give you practical and real ways to handle life. This is an added tool. My writing is simply a discussion, a discourse, with all the material I read, watch, hear and consume.
