I do all my writing, thinking and planning in my home library. Right in front of my books, and I have lots of them. Why? Because it inspires me. In front of me are men and women who have made tough decisions of their own and we get to learn about it. Men and women who built a business, a happy family or a life worth recounting.
They inspire my writing and living. How I treat others and how I approach decisions I have day to day. From difficult ones to more common.
Names like:
Margaret Thatcher. Maya Angelou. Abigail Adams. Marcus Aurelius. Alex Haley. John McCain. John D. Rockefeller. Robert Greene
Call them my friends, mentors, spiritual guides, etc. We are the average of who we spend our time with. Well, I sure spend a lot of time with them.
