How To Live More Lives
“A reader lives a thousand lives before he dies. The man who never reads lives only one.” -George R. R. Martin
Reading can be quite the escape. Regardless of what you enjoy reading, it is a great way to place yourself somewhere else. It may be a fictional character or a real person in history.
At any age you can live many lives. By the books you read and interact with. You get to experience new worlds, new ways of thinking and new ways to solve modern day problems. The ability to tap into the lives of men and women before us that lead charges for change. That took a stand. Or, that went through the very thing you’re going through now and they can provide insight.
Through books you get to learn with ease what someone else learned with great difficulty. So, dust off the book and read it.
In the 2007 film Knocked Up, Katherin Heigl gets unexpectedly pregnant. And so she tells Seth Rogen’s character, “you didn’t even the baby books…it shows your lack of commitment Ben.”
While there are things in life a book cannot make better, they sure can help. Even if it's parenting.
Maybe you don’t like to read. Well, there are audio books and platforms you can use. Or, you should just read things that interest you. You’d be surprised how that can change your view on books.
So here is your homework - just read, something. Afterall, you have just read this blog.

Thought Provoking Questions : What can you start reading now, that can give you more lives?
Daily I write and release a daily meditation. A quick read. Sharing wisdom and asking thought-provoking questions. Influenced by the obstacles, success and failures in my life and of others. Using history, books, current events, philosophy, and ancient wisdom. These writings are actionable, thought-provoking, designed to make your life better.
These writings are not to push a way of thinking on the reader or to force you into a certain philosophy or methodology. Rather to give you practical and real ways to handle life. This is an added tool. My writing is simply a discussion, a discourse, with all the material I read, watch, hear and consume.
