How To Learn Best
We all learn best by doing the work. Not based on theory, thinking about it or expecting it to come naturally.

Let’s take piano playing as an example. Looking at the piano it’s undeniably beautiful, and overwhelming to play if you never attempted before. So you take lessons. Overtime, what was a foreign experience now becomes who you are internally. You start with basic presses of the keys to complex arrangements over time.
The same is true for a foreign language. You don’t just wake up talking Spanish, Italian or Mandarin. It requires practice, just like the piano. You may even surround yourself with others who speak that language while you learn. With time, and practice you learn the language.
This is the precise method we need to take as adults in anything we do. Whether we are building a habit or simply want to learn anything. The technique outlined here is what our school systems should incorporate more of, so our children have a transformational educational experience.
Recently I spoke about the importance of repetition on doing something to become good at it, to become masterful. And I’ve had plenty to say about education as a whole.
Imagine a world where you can learn by doing. No, I don’t mean what the job does on your first day and expects you to just “figure it out.” The aim is a guided approach that allows you to do the work. Whatever “the work” is, may it be done this way. In life, in all aspects of life.
