How do you know what you like, love or dislike without experimenting? How do you know you are not good at math or using technology without putting in the effort to try and learn?
Mastery as Robert Greene explains is exactly that. Trying things, experimenting and when you find what makes you feel alive, spend a lot of time with it so you can become a master.
This can be applied to anything and any field. All professions, hobbies and interests. Surround yourself around people that want to try things at the same level as you do. Be in proximity to people who are already doing what you want to do and are good at it. Ken Coleman talks about this in his book The Proximity Principle.
Be curious, find, discover, uncover and cover yourself in “it.” Whatever it is and you’ll become masterful.
