Recently, however not attributed to him, author Philipp Meyer had a comment about effort in a podcast. He said, “the only way to be sure you can’t do something is to not try.”
The emphasis here is we stand in our own way. Instead of actually trying something and figuring it out, we fold up our tent. We throw in the towel before the fight starts. We want to learn how to handle money better but we won’t read a book on money. Our marriages need help and we don’t try therapy. We want to work out and instead of going for a walk we sulk at not working out.

Life is filled with moments just like this. Choices we make in favor for the person we want to become and the identity we want to shape. But you quit, before even trying.
My challenge to you (if you chose to accept it); try. Whatever [it] is try [it] and try [it] many time. Be curious about [it]. Turn [it] in all directions. Dissect [it]. Study [it]. And be drawn to [it].
For [IT] fill in the blank.

you have all the money/resources you need
no obstacles stand in the way
what is something that has always interested you…
