Don't mind humble beginnings. Yesterday, I had a conversation with someone and he discovered my blog.

"Hey, I see you have a little blog. What's that about?" Yes, I do have a little blog. In life we each have to be our own source of support. Only fans? I am my only fan and that is often the attitude we must have.

Especially as a writer or creative of any kind. We cannot be swayed by this group or that person. As artists, or in life, humble beginnings are perfect. Like Amazon starting out in a garage. Humble beginnings.

Whether someone likes this blog or not, that is not my concern. My focus is to write what I think, feel and what I need to remind myself. Elizabeth Gilbert captures perfectly the mindset. She wrote 'Eat, Pray, Love,’ and made a promise that she'll never ask her writing to support her, but she will always support her writing.

Yes Elizabeth, that!

And if my blog is small or "little," I'm good with that.

I write because I love it. Not for the views, subscription numbers or any other stat.
