Compounded Mistakes
Mistakes, when looked at properly are lessons. It’s an asset really if we know how to apply it. The tip as James Clear says, “you have to live with your mistakes, but you don’t have to compound them.”
Don’t make it worse. Slow down or stop. Think about what went wrong. Think of ways you contributed to the mistake. Was it costly? Good. Now that is the price you paid to learn and never do it again. It’s called the tax of life. The tax of having done a thing.
Stop thinking emotionally as that isn’t helpful. Do not act impulsively as that makes matters worse. It’s best to do nothing than to continue trying to make the next move. Small steps are better than big leaps.
Crawling is better than running. Taking a nap is better than going all in.
Live with your mistakes, just don’t make them worse. Hit pause and sit down for a bit. It will all be ok.

Thought Provoking Questions : What is a mistake you’ve had recently? How have you made it worse? Now, how have you made it better? Or, how can you make it better?
Daily I write and release a daily meditation. A quick read. Sharing wisdom and asking thought-provoking questions. Influenced by the obstacles, success and failures in my life and of others. Using history, books, current events, philosophy, and ancient wisdom. These writings are actionable, thought-provoking, designed to make your life better.
These writings are not to push a way of thinking on the reader or to force you into a certain philosophy or methodology. Rather to give you practical and real ways to handle life. This is an added tool. My writing is simply a discussion, a discourse, with all the material I read, watch, hear and consume.
