“You don’t need abs, but rather an attitude of training. You don’t need the answer, but rather an attitude of curiosity. You don’t need an easier life, but rather an attitude of perseverance. Attitude precedes outcome.” - James Clear
In many aspects of life we want the end result. We want the answer to the hard question. We want to be at the finish line. Yet, we don’t want the work that goes along with it. We do not want to put in the time to discover the answer. To get better abs. To transform ourselves.
When we think something is hard before trying, it influences drastically how and if we try. It’s not the trophy at the end that matters, its the work you’ve done to get there and how that work has changed you. Even if you didn’t win, you still come out ahead if you approach all you do with the right attitude.
Our attitudes determine virtually everything. How we approach our work. The way we engage and approach the people around us. And how an obstacle is looked at. It’s an age old struggle, the dichotomy of control—where you only focus on what you can control and not on what you don’t. Your attitude is prime in this practice. It’s not what happens to us that matters, but our attitude of what happens.
You may not be pursuing something right now. So, there are no results to chase or awards to capture. What if you feel stuck. Or lost. Or confused. Well are you actually any of these? If your attitude determines your outcome, you are only stuck, lost or confused only if you think you are. If you think you aren’t, than you’re not. Want to be in more control of your life, adjust your attitude towards it. Regardless of the trials in front of you.
One thing is for certain, things are not made worse by looking at things with a positive attitude. But, are certainly made worse with a bad, negative one.

Thought Provoking Questions : Do the opposite. How can you flip your attitude to something more productive today? How can it help?
Daily I write and release a daily meditation. A quick read. Sharing wisdom and asking thought-provoking questions. Influenced by the obstacles, success and failures in my life and of others. Using history, books, current events, philosophy, and ancient wisdom. These writings are actionable, thought-provoking, designed to make your life better.
These writings are not to push a way of thinking on the reader or to force you into a certain philosophy or methodology. Rather to give you practical and real ways to handle life. This is an added tool. My writing is simply a discussion, a discourse, with all the material I read, watch, hear and consume.
Another great post!!!
